Mechazuna-X Mini Sumo Robot 500Gram

Mechazuna-X is a competition-spec mini sumo robot developed by Mechabotics for robotics competitions, training and advanced robotics learning. Designed within a compact 10cm ? 10cm footprint and weighing approximately 490?495g, Mechazuna-X is built to maximise speed, traction and pushing performance within the 500g Mini Sumo category.

The robot features a durable combination of mild steel, 3D printed components and powder-coated finishing, providing a strong and compact chassis suitable for competitive sumo matches.

At the front, Mechazuna-X is equipped with two 0.4mm ? 150mm sharp blades designed to achieve a low attacking position, helping the robot get underneath its opponent during offensive movements.

Drive System

Mechazuna-X is powered by two G16 High-Speed & High-Torque DC Motors, delivering approximately 500?600 RPM with 1?3 kg?cm torque.

The motors are paired with high-grip silicone tyres to provide strong traction during acceleration, turning, attacking and pushing.

Power & Controller

The robot is powered by an 11.1V LiPo battery and uses the Maker Mini Sumo Controller with an integrated 6A motor driver.

A 7-mode Tactical DIP Switch system allows different competition strategies to be selected quickly, making it easier to prepare different tactical approaches for each match.

Sensor System

For the Autonomous configuration, Mechazuna-X is equipped with:

The opponent sensors provide multi-directional detection to help locate and attack opponents, while the edge detection sensors identify the dohyo boundary and help prevent the robot from driving outside the competition area.

Available Competition Versions

Mechazuna-X is available in three configurations:

1. Competition Spec ? Autonomous Version

Designed for fully autonomous Mini Sumo competition. The robot uses opponent and edge detection sensors to search, detect, attack and react automatically during a match.

2. Competition Spec ? RC Version

Designed for manually controlled Mini Sumo competition. The operator controls the robot using an RC remote system, allowing direct control over movement, positioning and attacking strategy.

3. Competition Spec ? Autonomous + RC Version

Combines Autonomous and RC capabilities in a single robot. This configuration provides greater flexibility for users who want to use the same platform for different competition categories, training and development.
